I put this in the same category as ther person who once claimed that if the town went on DST (we never change time, local politics issue) then her tomatoes wouldn't get enough sun.
I was never aware that we controlled how long our particular piece of the Earth faced the sun--I always thought we just controlled our clocks and tried to fool our bodies.

Teri, it looks like an editorial letter dosed with sarcasm. Though, I don't disagree with reteaching 7th grade science again!
Don't know which is worse, the letter or the printing of it without a "note:humor" category.
And Rush Limbaugh announces that Cho (VT shooter) was a Democrat.

Hi all--after checking with Snopes.com I discover that this is a genuine letter that was actually published, but that the author is well known in that community for her sarcastic, snarky, letters to the editor.
