I'm no prude but . . .

I just don't get why anyone, much less a roundish, forty-something woman, thinks it's a good idea to wear a dress that just barely covers her bottom TO A FUNERAL!

I'm just sayin'

Sounds like your whole congregation has issues in that area! Yikes! (Any chance she's the mother of the teenybopper who did the same?)

PPB--no, this was a friend of the family of the deceased: no one I'd met before. Maybe it's just a California thing.

I doubt it's just a California thing. A family in our congregation allowed their young teenage daughter to attend a funeral in a t-shirt and very short denim shorts.

I'm glad people younger than I get annoyed by that sort of thing too. Makes me feel less like an irascible old biddy.

Another candidate for the School for the Clue Impaired. As valedictrian of my class there, I volunteer to recruit her.
