Pilgrimage

It is spring break, my sister is visiting, and I have taken a couple of days of post-Easter vacation time. So yesterday we went on pilgrimage. Oh. My. God. That's all I'm going to say about that, except that my daughter was in raptures and expressed a desire to live there. Also that my son helped carry away certain merchandise that was purchased there. It takes a very manly guy to walk down the streets of L.A. carrying an American Girl bag.

We also visited the La Brea Tar Pits, which are in the same general part of town.

But my favorite part of the trip had to be spotting this bumper sticker.

Sons who carry sister's American Girl bags are deserving of large rewards of their choosing!

Love the bumper sticker!

I am with presbyterian gal, did you reward him for such efforts. So glad you got to make the pilgrimage and are recharging after a full week. Happy Easter Season.

Good on you for taking time off after the emotional wringer that is Holy Week. And, on the bumper sticker: HA! I need to get me one o' them. :-) Not that I'd put it on my car, but it would be fun just to own...

Wow - can't imagine my son going through the front doors without going into some sort of seizure.

BTW- I've made the jump from Anonimity into the blogosphere and would love to have some traffic to my part of the RevGal ring.

Lord knows I've got questions in need of answers over there :)

You know I'd almost recovered from going to the Chicago version of that with my nieces. And now you gotta go and send me back into nightmares again. Your son is a very brave boy indeed.
