I guess it's just shorthand for "the members of the congregation in which I am currently serving as pastor"--kind of like how my son's first grade teacher refers to the students in her classroom as "my kids".Karen Sapiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01952041607368514856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12659679.post-1123466804840602002005-08-07T19:06:00.000-07:002005-08-07T19:06:00.000-07:00Oh my....I have to agree with ppb. In her defense, she helped the children make wonderful crimson/orange/gold tie-dyed fireburst banners two years ago at Pentecost. I'm sure the success of that project encouraged her to think of other possibilities for tie-dye in liturgical art. And BTW, we definetly still tie-dye here in Oregon.Karen Sapiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01952041607368514856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12659679.post-1123455430307632582005-08-07T15:57:00.000-07:002005-08-07T15:57:00.000-07:00Oh. my.I just purchase some paraments -- they are ...Oh. my.
I just purchase some paraments -- they are *so* expensive.

I also have some tie-tye remover, it you need it. You have to boil the paraments in this chemical for 15 minutes and it will remove the dye.

Does she have no idea how much those things cost? and the reason you might need white ones?
